The London Cab Drivers Club was founded in 1989, as the MetroCab Club, to represent the interests of the pioneer MetroCab owners.
We are now, of course, open to owners of TXII's, TX1's, FX4's and Fairways as well.
Much has changed since our formation, but we still remain a trade organisation that is committed to looking after the interests of our members.
The LCDC is a mutual organisation, registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act. Through their subscriptions, members contribute to a common fund so that
each can receive both trade and legal representation. However, we do not operate with a view to profit.
